Bio

This is a journal about the lives of my Sims (me being

kislio. I'll write primarily about my Legacy family, but I might from time to time include snippets of my other families. If you read this journal, a few rules:

1) Do not flame me about how I play my game. I am shallow when it comes to my Sims--I breed my Legacy Sims purely for aesthetics, and my regular Sims only slightly less so. I enjoy torturing them from time to time, and I kill my elders without batting an eye.

2) My Sims are allowed to swear and so am I. When I am narrating for my Sims, I might curse. Likewise, when I'm writing from my Sims' point of view, they might swear, if I think it fits the personality I've developed for them.

3) If you choose to friend me, don't expect to be friended back on this account; I probably will on

kislio, seeing as I don't expect to look at my friends list here much (read: I won't. Ever). However, I have no problems being friended on this account.

4) This journal will more than likely be packed with pictures. I'll be putting them under a cut, of course, but if you're on dial-up some entries may take some time to load.

5) I use a lot of hacks in my game, mostly to fix stupid oversights (accidental or deliberate) on Maxis's part. Most of the active ones (i.e., hacked objects) I have, I don't use on my Legacy family.

By the Legacy rules, hacks are allowed, at least by omission:

You may NOT turn ageing off
You may use the elixir of life, but use caution, as you may suffer the jump bug.
You may NOT use any kinds of cheats or mood trainers.

No reloading after bad events (bad chance cards or accidental deaths)
Restarting after a bad bug or a glitch IS allowed. Just as useing the move_objects cheat is allowed for bugged objects.

Hacks are never specifically mentioned. "Any kinds of cheats" could include hacks, but I choose to interpret it more loosely and take it to mean only CTRL+ALT+C cheats or hacks that would give you an unfair advantage. Don't bother trying to convert me, it won't work; I'm not going to remove 20+ passive hacks that only fix problems with the game to please someone.
